One of the most sought after volumes designed by Bruce Rogers is the 1935 Holy Bible, often referred to as the "Oxford Lectern Bible." It was printed as a 2-volume folio edition in 19-pt. Centaur type on hand-made paper. In the Saturday Review of Literature, XII, October 19, 1935, Carl P. Rollins called it "the supreme work of America's greatest designer of printing."
