Bruce Rogers returned to the United States in 1919, and joined the Printing House of William Rudge in Mount Vernon, New York.  During this same time he was also the Printing Advisor to the Harvard University Press, and designed a number of their books.  He also designed books commissioned by individuals and by other presses.
