The Compleat Angler, by Isak Walton, was printed in 1909, and is one of an edition of 440. Bruce Rogers considered it one of his most successful books, and noted, "That's not bad. It carries the simplicity and naivete of Walton's prose--which the more elaborate editions do not." (Paul Bennett, Bruce Rogers of Indiana, An Interview, Providence: The Domesday Press, 1936, p. 19). It is printed on hand-made paper in the Riverside Caslon font which Bruce Rogers designed. Our copy is number 71.
