Leganto: Reading Lists

This guide includes an introductory walkthrough of Leganto, a reading list tool that leverages the wide-ranging availability of resources to increase accessibility and affordability of course resources!

Add Sections

1. After creating your reading list, you will have the option to either select a template or start with a blank reading list.

  • The templates, created by the library, will automatically add sections to your reading list in accordance with the semester's calendar. Use this if you plan to organize your materials by week.

2. If you selected one of the provided templates, you should see a list of sections already populated on your reading list. If so, you can skip ahead to Step 2: Add Resources. Otherwise, click on the New Section button to create your first section.

  • Give the section a title (required), add a description (optional), and add calendar dates (optional) before clicking Create.

If you decide to build your reading list without a template, you may find it easier to create all of your sections before adding resources. The best part is, if you decide you want to change the organization of your list, it is easy to drag and drop sections and resources!
