Searches many scholarly publications, including articles, books, preprints, reports, and more. Interdisciplinary. Provides some links to full text (often through the library's own subscriptions). If you find a source and can't retrieve the full text, be sure to check our Journal Finder before using interlibrary loan.
JSTOR
JSTOR is an online library of journals, academic ebooks, images, and primary sources. Includes ArtStor licensed images.
Project MUSE
Project MUSE is a leading provider of digital humanities and social science content ebooks and journals. Titles are DRM-free allowing for unlimited access, downloading and printing, and simultaneous usage.
ProQuest Research Tools
Multidisciplinary collection of full-text journal, magazine, and newspaper articles, e-books, dissertations, and more. Also contains citations to additional materials. Search includes all of the Davidson College Library ProQuest databases.

MLA International Bibliography with Full Text
The MLA International Bibliography covers scholarship in a broad range of Humanities disciplines related to global literatures and languages. Coverage includes materials published in more than 100 countries and in more than 50 languages, in the areas of literatures and languages from around the world

Communication & Mass Media Complete
(c. 1915 to present) Citations to articles from over 770 journals covering the fields of communication studies, journalism, and mass media; 450 of the journals are full text.

Music Index with Full Text
(1973 to present) Music Index with Full Text covers every aspect of classical and popular music. In addition to full-text journals, it includes reviews of performances as well as reviews of sound recordings and videos. Music Index with Full Text includes 862 indexed and abstracted journals. 366 of them are peer-reviewed.

Worldwide Political Science Abstracts
(1975 to present) Citations to articles from over 750 political science journals. Covers the fields of comparative politics, economic policy, international relations, political economy, and more.

Sociological Abstracts
(1952 to present) Citations to articles in over 1,500 sociology and social and behavioral sciences journals; also indexes reviews, monographs, and conference reports.
