This research guide includes readings, resources, and other notes related to the four week Davidson Learns course taught by Archives staff in Spring 2023. Information is primarily about the town of Davidson.

Welcome to DavidsonLearns: An Exploration of Davidson History!

In this course, the Davidson College Archives, Special Collections, & Community team will introduce you to Town of Davidson history using materials housed in the college archives. Together, we will explore primary sources - including photographs, manuscripts, and artifacts - to discover stories from Davidson's past.

The course will be divided chronologically and each week a different member of the Archives, Special Collections and Community staff will present on a specific time period.  Please see the left side bar for links to each of the four weeks.
