Finding aids list each interview, their dates, and the format of the resource.
A small selection of the oral history interviews in the Davidson College Archives have been digitized and are available online in our digital repository, Digital Davidson. Interviews are organized by collection and titled according to the person interviewed and the date of the interview. Interviews may be in the form of a video, audio recording, and/or transcript.
A selection of the oral history collections found in Digital Davidson is highlighted below.
Archival materials are the institutional records of Davidson College from its establishment in 1837 to the present day. Manuscript materials are largely unpublished documents such as diaries, letters, speeches and sermons. The collections may be about an individual, a family, or a group.
Listed below are collections related to the oral histories showcased in this guide. Collections are organized by collection identifier and feature a brief description of the collection's contents, as well as a link to the collection's finding aid.
