An ornate hand-written manuscript (Somnivm Scipionis ex Ciceronis libro de repvblica excerptvm)The Rare Book Room houses a number of early manuscript leaves, leaves from early printed books, and 3 complete incunabula.  They date from 1180-1545, and the materials include vellum and hand-made paper.   Countries represented are Spain, France, Belgium, Italy, Germany,  England, and Switzerland.
