Student Life Professional Development Resources: BrowZine

BrowZine

BrowZine is service that allows you to browse journals available through the Davidson College library in order to review the table of content, download full text articles, or save articles for later. You can even create a personalized bookshelf of favorite journals or save articles to read later.

Download the BrowZine app to add scholarly journals to a newsstand on your iPad or other device. Browse and read current and recent journal issues from many different publishers and database platforms and receive new issues as they are published.

As its name suggests, BrowZine is designed for browsing journals and individual issues; it is ideal for journals that you read regularly or for subject areas that you want to track. It is not designed for in-depth research however, and is not a search tool. If you need to search for articles on a specific topic, we recommend the databases listed on our various Research Guides.

Accessing BrowZine From the Library Website

The library website homepage offers a number of options to begin your research. Choose the Browse Academic Journals option to go directly to a particular subject, for example Arts and Humanities, or a specific journal and browse an issue or several issues through BrowZine in your browser.
