Graduating Seniors: Access to Library Resources

Public Library Resource Access

Wherever you go after Davidson, check out what is offered by your local public library system. Typical resources include:

  • An Interlibrary Loan service (sometimes this is free, sometimes you have to a pay a fee)
  • Databases
  • Print books, magazines, and newspapers
  • Videos, music and audiobooks
  • eBooks and eMagazines (and sometimes eReaders and/or tablets)

If you remain a resident of North Carolina, you can access NC Live. This resource gives North Carolina residents free access to a variety of ebooks, audiobooks, videos, online magazines, newspapers, journals, and more. Some other public library systems provide digital resource access similar to NC Live, so ask your local library for more information if you live outside of North Carolina.

You can access NC Live with a public library card. If you live in the Charlotte area, learn how to get a Charlotte-Mecklenberg Public Library Card, and check out the other resources you can access with it.
