Hold Your Classes During Emergency Closures

Communicating with Students


Even if you are not a frequent Moodle user, you may want to consider using it as the primary space where you communicate with your students and let them know your plan for remote classes. Make sure your class is visible, if you have not used it previously.


Moodle Announcement Forum:

Announcement forum at the top by default. If you post there, it will go out to all students enrolled in your course via email. This is a great way to send out timely updates so that you can be sure that all of your students are up to date.


You can bulk email your entire class using the class auto-group lists. When sending emails you should stress whether students should Reply All or just to you individually.
