I manage the Music Library in Sloan Music Center and am an adjunct guitar instructor with the Music Department. I possess master's degrees in classical guitar performance from Illinois State University and Appalachian Studies from Appalachian State where I focused my research on the careers and playing styles of Doc Watson and Bill Monroe. Besides guitar, I also play mandolin and banjo.
