    Find books, e-books, videos, periodicals, and federal government documents in our library; it also includes citations to many articles. You can use Davidson Library WorldCat to locate books and selected articles held by other libraries too.
  • ebrary  
    Over 145,000 e-books published by academic, trade, and professional publishers; covers all subject areas. Includes tools that allow you to create your own virtual bookshelf, bookmark pages, and add and save notes and highlights. Many titles can be downloaded for short-term use. See our guide to ebrary.
  • Ebsco Research Tools  
    Search across most EbscoHost article databases as well as the Ebsco e-book collection; interdisciplinary in scope. Note: this search excludes America: History & Life, Historical Abstracts, and L'Année philologique.
  • Gale Virtual Reference Library
    The full text of nearly 3,000 reference books -- including many scholarly subject encyclopedias -- covering a wide variety of disciplines and subjects. A good source for background information.
  • LexisNexis Academic  
    (c. 1980 to present) Full text articles from local, national, and international newspapers, magazines, and trade journals as well as newswires, business information, patents, legal documents, and transcripts of radio and television broadcasts.
  • ProQuest Research Tools  
    Now our largest collection of full-text article databases!
    (c. 1800 to present) Multidisciplinary collection of full-text journal, magazine, and newspaper articles, e-books, dissertations, and more. Also contains citations to additional materials. Includes all of our ProQuest databases.
